Teachers notes
uki146a-uki146f - Aim to provide more shopping problems involving addition, multiplication and subtraction of money up to £20 and to further familiarise children with the < and > signs. There is space on the activities for the children to record the extra calculations necessary to complete the sums. Read the instructions together and talk about the toys on sale, using all the appropriate language when comparing and contrasting prices. Make sure that the children understand the tasks before they begin to complete the activities.
Instructions
Enter the prices of the toys Mother Pound wants to buy. Then work out the change she will receive. Then work out which toy the torch costs more than and which toy the rocket costs less than. When you have finished click on the blue tick to see how well you have done.
