Pop Ten works very hard on the farm, collecting apples to take back to be baked into delicious pies. Although he enjoys this part of the job, it's not his favourite. What Pop Ten really enjoys is driving the van to town to deliver all the hot fresh pies to the shops. He loves his little van, It's seen better days, and has a bit of rust here and there. On Sundays, Pop washes and polishes his van and sometimes he tinkers with the engine and gets covered in oil, Grandma tells off Pop for coming into her kitchen with oily hands.

"Pop Ten, hello! That's who I am. I drive the pie delivery van. It goes so slow!, D'you know why? It's loaded full of apple pies!"
