Childrens Moneyworld aims to teach pupils and children between the ages of 4 and 11 all aspects of numeracy, money and personal finance.
We achieve this by designing rich, immersive and educationally rich content that is useable equally well at home and at school.
To enable children to learn and grasp the concepts of money we use "The Moneykins". These are a real-world family who live and work within "Moneytown". Each character represents a coin - therefore allowing children to make simple associations from day one.
Every game, activity and lesson centres around using the Moneykins characters to emphasize value, relationships and meanings regarding all aspects of numeracy.
Using this simple, yet effective strategy, we develop more complex associations and content to allow the child to teach themselves as they play. Over the past three years we have proven that this concept works amongst our 11,500 registered members scattered in 73 countries worldwide.
